The project

The two-year (12/2009-11/2011) Spice project, carried out by European Schoolnet (EUN) together with Direcção Geral de Inovação e Desenvolvimento Curricular (DGIDC) from Portugal and Dum Zahranicnich Sluzeb MSMT (DZS) from Czech Republic, and funded under the European Commission’s Lifelong Learning Programme (DG Education and Culture), aimed to: collect, analyse, validate and share innovative pedagogical practicess.

The focus was on inquiry-based learning, whilst enhancing pupils' interest in the sciences.

The Spice project looked into STEM:

• Good Practices created by teachers, and
  
• Policy initiatives

and shared the results during

• the Spice summer academy and
• the Communities of Practice.
